Double Barrel Custom Leather aims to bring change to Western riding. The way tack fits our horses is just as important as it is to fit us. DB tack is hand designed to fit the horse while keeping the style of western tack we know and love.
Our goal is to change the way equestrians look at tack. Tack on our horses is not just for show and should be made to accommodate our animals, keeping them comfortable so they can do their job to the best of their ability, not just look pretty. Especially within the western disciplines, ill-fitting tack is a much-too-common occurrence. Tack that doesn't fit makes for irritable schooling sessions and can even cause pain to our horses.
I am offering a solution for quality, handcrafted tack that not only fits your horse, but will draw everyone’s eyes at the barn and in the arena!
Custom Measured
Double Barrel headstalls and breast collars are all custom measured and tailored to your horse. I offer local fitting and measurement sessions in the Grangeville, IDarea. I will help you fit your bridle, offer bitting information, and find a solution for your horse!

My name is Natalie Ryan, owner of Double Barrel Custom Leather! I am a young leatherworker based out of Grangeville, ID, and I would love to share my small business with you!
What started out as a passion for art, drawing, and different mediums, merged with my love for horses and western lifestyle. Now, it is my small business and my aspiration to go full-time! I strive to add my own unique spin to each piece I do, prioritizing quality over the quantity of work I bring in. This craft is my art. I want to perfect each piece that I do, while maintaining its functionality and bringing something gorgeous to my growing customer base.
Each piece is crafted through hand-drawn patterns, precise cutting, and lots of patience! My custom work is truly custom! No two patterns are the same, never saved, and always drawn to the project. None of my tooling will ever be exactly like another. So, when you tell your friends and family that your custom-made belt is one-of-a-kind, it really is, and I am proud to be able to say that my products are like no other.
I’m definitely not your traditional artist either, most of my designs shy away from your typical “western” image. Figure-carved sci-fi and fantasy, blood, horror, Halloween, and overall bad-assery, is what you will find on my projects.
