Sizing: 12-17”. To check fit, use a string around the lowest point of your dog’s neck. Don’t pull tight! Make sure the string is snug, but loose enough to get fingers under. Once you’ve got your string in place, mark where it meets, then lay it out with a tape measure. That should be your dog’s measurement!

Maintenance: Because we use chicago screws for the best join, it is very important to check them before every use. They can become loose with normal use and should be tightened if they are. Failure to do so may result in the collar becoming unsafe and coming apart during use. Just like with all gear, they should be checked!

As with all leather gear, tack, and goodies, it is important to keep it hydrated, just like our own skin! To oil this collar, make sure it is clean and free of dirt, which can be wiped gently away with a soft cloth dampened with warm water. It is important not to use synthetic oils like Neatsfoot Compound, and to instead use 100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil, or Obenauf’s Leather Oil. DO NOT use olive oil or any type of cooking oil on your leather, as they can go rancid and ruin the leather. The lining of the collar doesn’t need to be oiled like the front, instead, just wiped clean regularly.
